Here is where I am at with my Express your love.
I am a little dissapointed that I did the same couple of designs on all the rays at the bottom. I wish I had done each one different.
I don't like doing words as you can see I started and then stopped. I will get back to it.
Wow, the dense stitching on her body looks amazing. I also am really impressed with how you did the hair; in fact, it all is looking good.
ReplyDeleteI think your quilting is great. No galloping horse needed here. I like the variagated thread part as well. Your blog is looking good! I am a new blogger as well. It's a huge learning curve, isn't it? You can see my attempts at www.archelonquilts.blogspot.com. Here is a link to a blogging tutorial: www.sewmanyways.blogspot.com/p/blog-parties.html
ReplyDeleteSally
Thanks for the tutorial. I can use the help. It takes me forever to do a post.
DeleteIt looks beautiful. I approach EVERY SINGLE piece that I do as Play...Practice...Fun...and a way to learn. It's helped me to do just that...instead of stressing about it in any way. I think you should pat yourself on the back and go on with those wonderful looking letters.
ReplyDeleteLove this! It's beautiful!!! I'm wondering why you don't like stitching the words, what words did you choose? Could the actual words be the problem or is it just the act of thread painting itself?
ReplyDeleteThe body of your goddess is beautiful! I've been having a hard time deciding which fmq stitch to put on mine!
Keep up the great work!
